What is T-Rex?

T-rex is a synthetic grippy fabric made from 100% polyester with a non-slip rubber outer-coating. T-rex is made with the same material used by mountain climbers to protect them from the elements and provide extra gripping. The black soles maintain a clean appearance even after a lot of wear.

The rubberized sole adds a moisture barrier keeping feet a little drier when you walk across a wet sidewalk. With wear it may rub off in spots, but this will not affect the functionality of the shoe. T-rex soles are soft, sturdy and flexible and mimic barefoot walking. Soft Star Shoes uses T-rex soles on their vegan moccasins in all sizes above baby size 4 (6-12 mos.).
