What is Canvas?
What is Canvas?Canvas is an extremely heavy-duty plain woven fabric ("Plain woven" means that the weft and warp form a simple criss-cross pattern, which is made by passing each weft thread over one warp thread, then under one, then over one, and so on. The next weft thread goes under the warp thread that the prior weft thread went over and vice versa.). It is typically made from cotton, but may also be made from linen or hemp. Canvas is commonly used for tents, shoes, backpacks, and sails, andwhen stretched across a frameas an artist's painting surface.

Our Customers Say ...
  • "Customer service is exceptional and very attentive. I was updated on all parts of the ordering process via email messages. Plus, I had chosen a faster, more expensive shipping method (UPS 3 day), but they wrote and told me it was faster and cheaper to send via UPS Ground because of my location. Highly recommend this store and will definitely shop here again!"
