What are pigment inks?
What are pigment inks?Pigment inks are water-based inks made from finely ground particles of pigment (from synthetic materials) suspended in water. Because they are actually solid rather than liquid, they are not water-soluble, and the tiny pigment ink particles rest on top of the paper, unlike dye inks, which soak into the paper.

Pigment inks are acid-free and non-toxic, with high fade-resistance, water-resistance, and durability. They do not bleed or run and will last many decades with minimal fading. On a printed tee shirt, they are more breathable than plastisol inks. They may be used for printing photos, tee shirt transfers, and regular documents. Pigment dyes, rather than inks, are used for textile dyeing.

Our Customers Say ...
  • "Customer service is exceptional and very attentive. I was updated on all parts of the ordering process via email messages. Plus, I had chosen a faster, more expensive shipping method (UPS 3 day), but they wrote and told me it was faster and cheaper to send via UPS Ground because of my location. Highly recommend this store and will definitely shop here again!"
