SOS from Texas is a family-owned business that has been growing organic cotton for tee shirts since 1992, when they first became certified organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture (the Oldham family has actually been growing cotton in Texas for over 100 years, but only became certified organic in 1992). Once the organic cotton is harvested and ginned, it is shipped to North Carolina to be spun into yarn. The rest of the production (finishing, knitting and sewing) also takes place in the Carolinas.

All SOS from Texas products are 100% American-made, "grown and sewn", and sweat-shop free. The company specializes in organic cotton tee shirts and is committed to sustainable business practices.
