Lapsaky
Beginning January 2010, Lapsaky is downsizing their product line. The reason for this, according to the owner, is:
"...in order to be able to continue to offer the quality you expect, but also allowing us to keep our business more manageable as a small, home based business."
We encourage you to take advantage of the low clearance prices on Lapsaky products while you can. Quantities are very limited and these items will NOT be restocked.
Lapsaky's organic cotton baby and children's clothes, bedding, and bath products are all manufactured in the USA. Their garments are designed by founder Laurie Rasch, who has worked in the clothing industry for the past 20 years.
We love that they buy their fabrics, whenever possible, from American farmers (who grow their organic cotton in North Carolina and Texas) and knitters/weavers, and that they cut and sew all of their products here in the USA. When US-grown organic cotton is not available, they still insist on knitting/weaving their fabrics here in the US. They are currently using foreign-grown organic cotton cotton that is milled in the US.
Most of their products feature colorgrown organic cotton, which offers subtle color options for those who choose to avoid garment dyes.
Their baby clothing is designed to fit over cloth diapers, and all of their baby and children's items are easy to put on and take off, which simplifies dressing squirmy babies and encourages independence for toddlers and children.
